Matthew joined over 7,000 people who took part in the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run at Allianz Park to raise funds for charities and schools.

Accompanying the participants were the Chief Rabbi and six survivors of the Holocaust. A variety of participants took part in several different races raising money for charity. Alongside the Charity Fair, Family Zone and very popular food court, Matthew saw how people were coming together to have a good time. A new addition this year was the Colour Run, where participants were covered in colourful powders.

Matthew said: “It was great to see so many people having such a fantastic time and I even got to catch up with my colleague in the House of Lords, Stuart Pollock, who was accompanying his granddaughter in one of the races.”
