Matthew is delighted to be have been re-elected Member of Parliament for the Hendon constituency.

Speaking after the counting of votes Matthew said:

"I am honoured and proud to have been elected the MP for Hendon for the third time. This is a very diverse constituency and it is a great privilege to represent the many different communities, cultures and religions.

"We have some important and serious issues to address as a nation and I will continue to fight for the interests of my constituents, as I have done in the past, even if it means opposing my own party.

"I would like to thank everyone who voted for me for their continued trust and support."
