Matthew was street-partying hard to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in the Hendon constituency over the weekend.

 
Accompanied by his wife Claire and faithful canine companion Max, Matthew attended parties in Hendon, Mill Hill and Colindale before heading off to watch the Queen's concert at Buckingham Palace.

Matthew said: ""The celebrations have further demonstrated the Queen's devotion to duty through her stoic performance in the rain and her determination that the public should be part of the Jubilee. It was an honour for Claire and myself to attend a Garden Party leading up to the celebrations and the street parties have been just as enjoyable. The enthusiasm of local people to celebrate this wonderful occasion has been overwhelming and inspiring.""
