Matthew was pleased to speak to a packed meeting at the Multicultural Centre in West Hendon.

Addressing members of the Indian community he referred to his visits to India, particularly his participation in The Art of Living Cultural Festival in Delhi last year and his admiration for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, his 34 years of being a vegetarian, and the strength and support he takes from the great Hindu deity Lord Ganesh.

Matthew said: "It was a pleasure to share some of my experiences of India with local people whose families were originally from India and who still have strong ties with the country and its culture."
