Matthew has welcomed the decision by First Capital Connect to abolish cash machine charges at all its stations. This will mean passengers who board the Thameslink service at Mill Hill will save an average of £1.80 per cash withdrawal.
The current contract to supply the machines is coming to an end and a new supplier has been brought in who provides facilities free of charge.
The conversion process will begin in early February and continue until mid March. Customers should note that the machines will not be available for a short time during the conversion process.
Matthew said: “I am very pleased at this decision by First Capital Connect which follows feedback from FCC customers and discussions at the All Party Parliamentary Group for Thameslink. It is a change which will make life that bit easier and I’m sure will be welcomed by my constituents.”
