Matthew was pleased to cut the ribbon at the launch of Barnet's Dementia Care UK Week at Brent Cross shopping centre. Organised by Brunswick Park Councillor Lisa Rutter, the event was designed to raise awareness of the condition. Matthew said: "Dementia affects many people and their families and this was an opportunity for local people to ask questions, discuss concerns and obtain information." Helping to draw attention to the event, shoppers at Brent Cross were surprised by a flash mob choir which congregated to entertain them. Matthew was accompanied at the event by chairman of Saracens Rugby Club Nigel Wray (4th from left), and Mayor-designate Councillor David Longstaff (3rd from left).
