As nominations closed for the General Election, Matthew was pleased to announce that he had been successfully nominated as the Conservative candidate for the Hendon constituency. The formal process requires the signatures of ten people who are included on the local electoral register.
Matthew was pleased to introduce members of the local business community to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Right Honourable Sajid Javid, at a meeting in Mill Hill.
Attending were constituents working in the insurance, property, financial services, export, consumer and IT sectors.
Matthew attended the unveiling of the Perrin telescope at the UCL Observatory (UCLO) in Mill Hill. The instrument will allow students and researchers to investigate parts of space they have not been able to view before.
